James specializes in Classical Guitar and has a large repertoire of popular, classical,  and jazz songs. He also plays acoustic classic and modern rock and performs throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island, and the greater New England area.

James graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston in 1992 with a Fine Arts Degree. He studied with the renowned guitarist John Wilkins, jazz great Hal Crook, and pop singer Livingston Taylor. He plays in the popular acoustic duo "Love Handles" which includes former "Sugardaddy" singer Graham Thompson.  

He teaches electric, acoustic, and classical guitar to students of all ages at his studio in Stonington, Connecticut.
